Soft tannins and well balanced acidity give good length and persistence of flavour. The Shiraz has spicy, berry flavours complexed by a touch of mint, dominate this wine. The warm, ripe, savoury fruit results in a soft, rounded palate showing great length. Both wines complement the cheddar cheese from the Islands of Mull and Arran from the West Coast of Scotland.
