Fresh Oysters

Our Fresh Oysters come from the The Island of Seil which enjoys the advantages of an inner Hebridean Island, surrounded by swift tides to carry planktons on which the oysters thrive.

Kilbrandon has an up to the minute purification plant where the oyster shells are thoroughly cleaned externally, before being transferred to tanks of purified seawater to eliminate any risk of contamination.

Your oysters are packed for dispatch, in beautiful clean surroundings, within a short time of leaving the water. All grading is done by hand so there is no stress to the oysters, and they remain in peak condition. These wonderful oysters are absolutely delicious.
